What You'll Do
We're looking for a skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our healthcare division. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medical coding systems and healthcare documentation, ensuring accurate coding for medical procedures and diagnoses.
Your Impact
Here's what you'll be responsible for in this role
Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
Review and analyze patient medical records and documentation
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding requirements
Maintain accuracy and quality standards in medical coding processes
Stay updated with latest coding changes, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and submit coded data for billing and reimbursement purposes
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in medical coding or healthcare documentation
- Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in healthcare information systems and electronic health records
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets
